e.tv has announced a highly anticipated new telenovela, The Four of Us, premiering on Monday, 29 June at 20:00. The star-studded drama features award-winning talent, including Dumisani Dlamini, Sindi Dlathu, and Thembinkosi Mthembu.

Taking over the channel’s prime 20:00 time slot, the new series replaces the long-running soap opera Scandal!, which was recently canceled after an impressive 23-year run. The channel revealed that the acclaimed Tshedza Pictures will produce the replacement series, marking the very first collaboration between e.tv and the production powerhouse.

The road to the premiere has built significant excitement. In early April, Sindi Dlathu and Rami Chuene were confirmed as the series leads, a casting announcement that sent social media into a frenzy. Shortly after, the official title of the show was revealed. By mid-May, the star power grew even further with the addition of Sdumo Mtshali and Thembinkosi Mthembu to the main cast.

According to a statement from the channel:

“Viewers can expect bold narratives rooted in family, ambition, betrayal, and survival, brought to life by two of the country’s most respected production houses.”

The series will debut with its first 30-minute episode on 29 June.
