Emily in Paris is now in production for its final season on Netflix.

Netflix announced that the popular series will end with its sixth season, which is currently shooting in Greece. The renewal for the final season was originally announced back in January.

The hit series follows Chicago marketing executive Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, as she navigates work, romance, friendship, and fashion in Paris.

“Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime,” said series creator and producer Darren Star. “As we embark on the final season, I am deeply grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us. We can’t wait to share this final chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be part of your lives, inspiring dreams of travel, and fostering a love for Paris. We’ll always have Emily in Paris!”

While there is no official launch date for the upcoming season yet, the final chapter will pick up directly from the season five cliffhanger. In that finale, Emily’s on-and-off romantic interest, Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo), sends her a postcard inviting her on a Greek getaway.

Emily in Paris made its debut in 2020, where it racked up an impressive 26.8 million views globally in just 11 days. As the series comes to a close, we will definitely miss the drama, the fashion, and everything Emily in Paris.
